The international mix exacted revenge on Nouns in the grand final to qualify for the Maltese event.

ATK took down Nouns 3-1 in the ESL Challenger S42 NA grand final to secure the $20,000 in prize money and a place at EPL Season 17 Conference.

Gareth "⁠MisteM⁠" Ries's crew had a stellar run through the group stage, eventually finishing atop Group B with a 6-1 record, with their lone defeat coming at the hands of BHOP. They swept Brazen in their opening playoff series before falling to Nouns in an extremely close 1-2 defeat in the following match, which sent ATK to the lower bracket.

MisteM led by example in the grand final and finished with a 1.32 rating

ATK had a convincing lower bracket run as they scored 2-0 wins over Iron Blood, TeamOne, and MIBR to reach the grand final and set up a revenge bout with Nouns. Coming from the upper bracket, Jeorge "⁠Jeorge⁠" Endicott's crew were awarded a 1-0 advantage but could not capitalize on it, as ATK dominated on Inferno and continued their winning form on the next two maps to sweep the series 3-1 and book their tickets to the ESL Pro League Season 17 prelude.

ATK join teams such as Outsiders, Imperial, and Movistar Riders in the list of qualified teams, with only two more spots yet to be filled by the top-two teams of ESL ANZ Championship Season 15.
